WOLC Ministry Internship

The Ministry Internship at Word of Life Chapel provides practical ministry and leadership experience that helps equip interns for a lifetime of ministry.

Purpose

• Gain valuable ministry experience by assisting and shadowing the pastoral staff.

• Be mentored and accountable to the pastoral staff.

• Learn how to do pastoral ministry in a safe environment.

Intern Experience

Interns receive weekly mentorship, preach/teach in various settings, participate in leadership meetings, and assist with real pastoral responsibilities. They will develop a personal doctrinal statement, engage deeply with Scripture, complete guided reading and reflection, and practice pastoral disciplines such as visitation, relationship-building, and maintaining ministry journals.
