WHAT TO EXPECT

Whether you’ve attended church your whole life or never stepped foot in one before, we know it’s not easy visiting a church for the first time. You’re not sure what to expect. You probably have a lot of questions. What does a Sunday service look like? How should I dress? What are the sermons like? What’s your musical style?

Great questions! Here’s some information that should help:

HOW SHOULD I DRESS?

WOLC is a come as you are church. There is no dress code. Some people will wear their "Sunday Best" and others will dress casual. We are just glad that you have decided to join us!

WHAT ARE THE SERMONS LIKE?

Most of our sermons are expository. That means that we are breaking down a passage, one verse at a time to see what God is saying. We'd strongly believe that the Bible applies to us today. That being said, there is always application included with each message.

WHAT ABOUT THE MUSIC?

We consider our morning worship service to be blended. What does that mean? Well, we see the value in both the Hymns of old and the new songs written today. If you come visit us on a Sunday morning you will more than likely hear drums, organ, piano, guitars all being used for the glory of God!

WILL I BE ASKED TO GIVE MONEY?

No. We do not "pass the plates" at Word Of Life Chapel. Instead there are white boxes located in the sanctuary where people may place their tithes and offerings according to their convictions.
